چکیده
Due to a lack of an accurate model in finite element simulation mechanized harvesting wild chrysanthemum, the stem chrysanthemum period is taken as research object. ANSYS Workbench 19.0 software and LS-DYNA (LS-PrePOST-4.3-X64) are used calibrate cutting. The diameter distribution at cutting height obtained. maximum shear forces different diameters (7 mm, 8 9 10 11 mm) within range determined 120.0 N, 159.2 213.8 300.0 378.2 respectively, by using biomechanical testing machine custom-made blade. Plastic_Kinematic failure simulate process method. Plackett–Burman test employed screen out factors that significantly affect results, namely, yield stress, strain, strain rate parameter C. regression between force significant parameters obtained central composite design experiments. To obtain parameters, measured values substituted into equation target values. In other words, stress 17.96 MPa, C 87.27, 0.0387. carried with parameters. results showed error simulated actual value stems 7.8%. This indicates calibrated relevant can be method provide basis for subsequent simulations.

Finite Element Model Construction
Abstract This chapter explains the methodology to simulate total hip arthroplasty. Three-dimensional (3D) model of a femur was created from the Visible Human Project computed tomography dataset. Four different models of cementless hip stem were constructed from various file formats. Triangular surface mesh was manually repaired to ensure good finite element model for analyses. The implant surfa...
متن کاملFinite Element Analysis of Hardened Steel Cutting
Hard machining, as attractive replacement for many rough and finish grinding operation, generates high cutting forces and temperature that enhance tool wear when act together. Therefore, the tool geometry and machining parameters have to be carefully optimized for a given material. Because of high cost and time consuming experimental work up-to-date advanced software for modeling and simulation...
متن کاملFinite Element Model Calibration Approach for Ares I-X
Ares I-X is a pathfinder vehicle concept under development by NASA to demonstrate a new class of launch vehicles. Although this vehicle is essentially a shell of what the Ares I vehicle will be, efforts are underway to model and calibrate the analytical models before its maiden flight. Work reported in this document will summarize the model calibration approach used including uncertainty quanti...
متن کاملChrysanthemum Cutting Sticking Robot System
Cutting sticking operation is essential on a chrysanthemum production to enhance its productivity, since many cuttings can be obtained from one mother plant. Usually, human being manually sticks the cuttings to plug tray, however, it takes a lot of time and much labor, since the number of cuttings is said to be about 200 million in a district where yields the highest number of chrysanthemums in...
متن کاملParameter Selection Strategies in Finite Element Model Updating
In FE model updating, as in any identification procedure, we select some parameters in the model, and try to fine-tune them to minimize the discrepancy between the model predictions and the measured data. The paper compares the performance of the generic element matrices, recently introduced by the authors, with other selection strategies for finite element model updating. The updated models ob...
